Congratulations to ICORD Principal Investigator Dr. Susan Forwell, who was recently named the Scholar in Residence and awarded the Barbara Sexton Lectureship from the University of Western Ontario’s Department of Occupational Therapy. Dr. Forwell studies the impact of chronic neurological conditions like SCI, MS and traumatic brain injury on peoples’ chosen occupations. She is a an Associate Professor in the UBC Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy.
The Barbara Sexton Lectureship was established in 1999 to reward innovation and excellence in occupational therapy teaching and to foster professional enrichment.
