The overall goal of the Access to Fly study is to use evidence and user-feedback to develop training recommendations and resources for airline and airport personnel. If you are an individual with SCI, we would like to learn about your air travel experiences, your accessibility needs, the barriers you have encountered, and your suggestions. Participation would involve a 60-minute interview over a teleconferencing platform (Zoom).
Why should you participate?
This is a unique opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions through your air travel experience. This knowledge will be used to create recommendations for airline and airport personnel training, as well as informational resources to facilitate a safe and pleasant travel experience for all individuals with SCI in the future.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Have used air travel within Canada
- Have used air travel within the last 2 years
- Have a spinal cord injury
- Are over 18 years old
- Can understand and speak English
Time commitment: One 6o-minute interview.
Compensation for participation: A $50 honorarium is available for this study. This can be provided through an e-transfer or gift card.
