ICORD PI featured in “Women of Innovation” book

ICORD PI Dr. Stephanie Willerth is featured in Women of Innovation: The Impact of Leading Engineers in Canada, a book recently published by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Petroleum (CIM). The book tells the stories of twenty inspiring women engineers in Canada who have overcome adversity, excelled in their fields and worked toward getting more young women interested in STEM.

In her chapter, Dr. Willerth discusses aspects of her career ranging from her role models to innovation in the lab. She says, “I am not a professor by accident. I have wanted to be a scientist since I was five. If it had been possible, I would have been a professor straight out of high school.”
