ICORD is a research centre of the University of British Columbia (UBC) and the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute (VCHRI).
ICORD belongs to UBC’s College for Interdisciplinary Studies. CFIS supports and cultivates world-leading interdisciplinary research and teaching at UBC that aims to find solutions to complex, real-world problems. ICORD is pleased to have the support of the dedicated CFIS team who are committed to enabling ICORD’s ongoing development and global excellence. ICORD is also a research centre within the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute.
ICORD’s Executive is responsible for the management of ICORD. The Executive, through the Director, reports to UBC and VCHRI and receives advice and guidance from ICORD’s Advisory Bodies.

The International Advisory Panel participates in the development of strategic directions for ICORD research and related clinical and community-based activities; reviews and evaluates the progress of ICORD programs; provides advice on the management of programs, research support initiatives, collaborative research opportunities and funding prospects, at the regional, national, and international levels; and provides advice to the ICORD Director and Executive regarding ICORD’s responsibilities (locally and beyond).
